David and his partner Lucy have a plan to fix this bad blood and hopefully have one less enemy in Night City… Will it work out, or will someone get flatlined? or both?...
Cyberpunk: Rookie Move is a film by Cameron Rankin, set in the Cyberpunk universe. This unofficial film is written by Cameron and directed by Leo Kei Angelos (see: The Jump).
Cameron started writing "lost scenes" for the series as any obsessed fan would. Creating scenes between episodes or extending from existing scenes from the anime series ‘Cyberpunk: Edgerunners’. The first scene takes place between episodes 3 and 4, and focuses on a particularly strong Tyger Claw, antagonist Daiki, looking for revenge for his uncle who was killed while chasing the protagonist David, in episode 3.
Jake is a big fan of Cyberpunk 2077, and as such was delighted to score this film and flex his action/sci-fi musical muscles. The score includes heavy use of synths, distorted guitars, a heavy modern drum kit, big tribal percussions, and electronic layers and textures throughout. That perfect blend of Cyber and Punk!
