Playlist information:
Heroic Panorama - Neoclassical, sweeping strings and epic melody lines supported by big drums, percussive hits, and trailer-style sound design.
Heartwarming Strings - On the slightly lighter side of the Neoclassical genre, taken from the same album as Heroic Panorama. Epic, building, dynamic.
The Contest - A complex, rich, and layered piece. The unique element here are the rhythmic changes throughout; the main arpeggio pattern moves through groups of triplets, quarters, quintuplets, and sextuplets, to create suspense and tension.
Implosion - A very contemporary score, this cue blends traditional string-based orchestration with feedbacked guitars, detuned/rising strings, polyrhythmic percussion patterns utilising modern sounds Trap sounds, and even whispering voices.
Through Security - Slightly closer to the Neoclassical you’re looking for; lots of counterpoint and staccato strings. A track like this could easily be manipulated to have an urban groove/beats production underneath.
Trapped Nerve - Simple melody line with an urban feel throughout. Has a touch of the Neoclassical in the melodic section B. Predominantly for underscore use, this track sits nicely to create some light tension with the use of some interesting textures.
Grime & Punishment - Heavily influenced by the sounds of Grime, Drill, and London-centric Urban genres. Utilising ticks, pops, claps, traditional Urban sounds throughout; something like this could easily be applied to the Neoclassical genre for a nice blend of the two.
