- Questions About the Role -
How much do you charge per library song? This depends on the specific assignment (style, genre, length, etc), but on average a library track could be between £100 and £200 ($130 - $260). This would include mixing, mastering, and all possible deliverables.
How much do you charge per custom song (standard rate)? Also heavily dependent on the assignment specifics, but this would generally be more work, so between £200 and £300 ($260 to $390). This includes mixing, mastering, and all possible deliverables.
Ex. What about a 30-second custom song for use on socials? Between £50 and £100 ($65 and $130), depending on what is needed.
Ex. What about a 2-minute custom instrumental song containing two tone shifts for use in a biographical documentary? Somewhere in the range of £200 to £350 ($260 to $450), also including any/all changes and versions.
What is your typical turnaround time for custom music creation? 3 days maximum
Our team is based in California, USA (PST). Are you willing and able to work parallel to our time zone when necessary (for meetings, delivery, etc.)? Absolutely! A lot of my work is based in LA, and despite living and also working in London UK, I have no problem working around the time difference.
Are you comfortable working with us on an as-needed basis (contracted freelance work)? Of course! It would suit my current work and personal projects perfectly.
What are three descriptors that best describe your musical style as an artist? Compelling, adaptable, and consistent.
- Tone Alignment Assessment -
This assessment is to see how well your work aligns with our brand and tone. Our primary clientele comes from wineries, local businesses, and real estate/design companies. We want to make sure your sound appeals to these three main audiences.

Extra Information
You mentioned “2-minute custom instrumental” in your questionnaire, and so I thought to link this exclusive clip for Variety Magazine. This piece I scored for the upcoming documentary Balance, produced by Alysso Milano.
I’m more than happy to chat about prices and costs, etc, as many libraries I work with don’t offer up-front fees for composition (only backend royalties as standard), and so it’s always difficult to supply an estimate for prices. I’m open to chat!
